Why Every Groom Includes a Bath
A great haircut starts with a clean coat! Every groom at Doggie Stylez Grooming includes a bath, blow dry, and coat preparation before clipping or styling. Using quality products and proper drying techniques allows me to achieve the best finish possible for your dog.
Grooming a dirty coat can blunt equipment, affect the quality of the groom, and make it harder to achieve the look you’re hoping for. Baths will only be waived for genuine medical reasons. As dirty coats still impact my equipment and grooming process, discounts cannot be offered if the bathing stage is omitted.
Full Groom
Each dogs treatment is tailored to their individual needs and requirements. All, or a selection of below, is what will be included in a full groom:

Health check- eyes, ears, gums and teeth, skin and coat will be checked over.

Bath- 2x shampoos and conditioner (if required).

Dry- with high velocity dryer/ stand dryer. For those who struggle with this, I will use alternative methods of drying to ensure no unnecessary distress is caused to your dog.

De-shed (undercoat removal) or coat clip.

Scissoring- to style, to tidy around body, face, feet and ears

Feet- removal of hair in the paw pads

Nail clipping

Tidy up of hygiene areas

Ear cleanse

Spritz of cologne

Application of paw and nose balm.
Bath and tidy - from £38
A “mini groom” perfect for a tidy up for in between grooms (no clipping involved)
Hand stripping - from £80
2x sessions- first session is for the handstrip itself, the second is for the bath, nails and ear clean.
Puppy packages (under 6 months) - from £80
3x mini sessions to introduce your new puppy to a positive grooming experience.
Comfort grooms for senior dogs - from £55
Older dogs may not be as tolerant as they used to be, they may struggle to stand for long periods of time, be more grumpy and get tired more easily. These grooms are not about aesthetics- these are grooms tailored with total comfort in mind.
Flea baths - from £10
Please be sure to let us know beforehand if your dog requires a flea bath
Dremel Nail Filing - £5
Smooths and rounds nails for a neater finish than clipping alone. Perfect for dogs who dislike sharp nail edges.

There are many factors that can affect the cost of a groom such as breed, size, coat condition, age, temperament, time since last groom and style preferences, therefore prices do vary.

Collection & Drop-Off Service
Need a helping hand getting your dog to their appointment? Collection and drop-off may be available within a 3-mile radius for selected appointments.
£5 per journey.
